Session Name: Henry Horenstein in Conversation about Miles and Miles of Texas

Session Description: Henry Horenstein is an American artist, photographer, filmmaker and educator. He studied with Harry Callahan and Aaron Siskind, two of the leading American photographers of the 20th century. Horenstein has published over two dozen books and made numerous films — his latest, Miles and Miles of Texas, features a collection of nearly 100 photographs that he took all over the state, mostly between 2021 and 2024. Texas has been a continual source of inspiration for the artist, and these pictures reflect the people, places, music, and culture that make Texas so unique.

Artist Talk at Unique Photo for 20/20 Photo Book Fair, Philadelphia, PA

Henry will be giving an artist talk at Unique Photo Philadelphia as part of the 20/20 Photo Book Festival, introducing his latest monograph, Miles and Miles of Texas and Honky Tonk 20th Anniversary reprint. The talk will include a film screening of Spoke about the legendary Broken Spoke Dance Hall in Austin, Texas.
